If you aren’t already one of our valued volunteers, have you ever considered helping us out? We need all sorts of people with all sorts of talents. Whatever your skill, we can probably find something for you to do to help the cats and kittens of West Oxfordshire in need of care.
Could you be a home visitor? Can you spare time to help with rehoming? We need reliable caring people to be home visitors.
Could you be a fosterer? Do you have a spare room you could dedicate to the care of a cat or kitten in need? We need reliable, caring and patient people to be fosterers.
Do you like:
Driving? We need reliable drivers who could occasionally collect and deliver goods, equipment and donations.
Being Creative? We can always use illustrations and drawings for our posters and publicity.
Being Crafty? Can you make original greeting cards or anything crafty that we can sell?
Knitting or Crochet? We can always use blankets for the cats in care and sell items to raise funds.
Gardening? How about potting a few extra cuttings that we can sell on.
Baking? Can you bake? Cakes and treats are always needed at our events.
Getting Organised? Would you like to arrange small events yourself such as coffee mornings to raise funds?
Do you have lots of bright ideas and inspiration to help us in raising much needed funds? Maybe you could just help by regularly putting up posters for us?
We hold fundraising events throughout the year at various locations and always need plenty of willing hands with these – whether you can assist with setting up or clearing up – or can just stay for a few hours and enjoy meeting people and chatting. Book sales, boot sales, jumble sales, tombolas, raffles, Christmas Fayres – we do us much as we can. And of course – you can always help with a collection tin!
Any time that you can give to help Sunshine Cat Rescue is immensely valuable to us – you decide how much or how little.
